About

Hi! I’m Elysha Paige — the Founder of Radiate Hiring. I specialise in recruiting tech and charity teams and leaders. My background includes both being a recruiter and also a leader hiring and building teams. Over the last 10 years, I’ve experienced recruitment from all angles as a agency recruiter, in-house talent lead, tech consultant, line manager, hiring manager and a charity CEO. I’ve sourced and hired software engineering, data science, agile delivery and tech sales teams. I’ve built and led charity teams including programme managers, fundraisers and comms people. I built Radiate Hiring because I’m deeply passionate about helping organisations make the right hiring decisions that charge your team with just the skills and energy you need.

Fresh out of university with a Theatre degree under my belt and skilled in communication, stakeholder management and a strong work ethic, I did what many people do and took my first “proper job” as an Agency Recruiter. I found success in specialising in technology and placed software engineers, architects and data analysts in contract and permanent positions for large private and public sector organisations.

With an ambition to deepen my knowledge in the hiring process, I took a position at REPL Group (since has been acquired by Accenture) and became a Talent Lead responsible for helping build the Digital team consisting of software developers, product owners, UX / UI designers and test analysts. My most impactful achievements include developing REPL’s Data Science capability, through sourcing the entire team and significantly increasing the number of women in the Digital team. I exercised my interest in gender equity through my role in the Women in Technology Employee Resource Group and later started a part-time Masters in Gender, Sexuality and Culture which I completed alongside my full-time position.

After years of recruiting in the tech sector, I decided I wanted to join it and retrained and worked as a consulting Business Analyst supporting the integration of a complex back office system with a client in the energy sector. I was part of a global Agile delivery team made up of software developers, project managers, UX/ UI designers and test analysts and a line manager to two junior business analysts.

As lockdown hit and I received a Distinction in my Masters, I was drawn to a career which aligned more with my values and joined charity Bloody Good Period to lead in the delivery and scale of it’s social enterprise; Bloody Good Employers. During my time there, I grew the enterprise in terms of scale and income having delivered ED&I services to over 60 organisations and securing profit to donate back to the charity every year. I co-led the hiring strategy and recruitment process and was promoted to Interim CEO to lead the team through a period of significant transition.

Almost 10 years since my journey began I’m now able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the hiring process - not only as a recruiter but as a line manager and c-suite strategic leader. I built Radiate Hiring because I know that organisations’ recruitment needs are too often not being met, whether that’s not being able to find the skills or the ethos alignment that strengthens teams for the long term. Because of my extensive experience in both the tech and charity sectors I have a strong understanding of the challenges faced in these areas. My services offer beyond simply sourcing candidates for roles and include a consultative approach, process ownership and advice where needed. Radiate Hiring for me is a ‘coming home’, a full-circle moment back to where my career began, where I easily find my flow and do work that utilises my strongest skills, but now with a decade of learning to help guide the way.
